How do you ship?

We ship using flat rates based on area and use polymailers or large envelopes based on what is bought.  The rate for Canadian shipments is $8, USA is $10 and International is $15.  Every shipment that goes outside of Canada or the USA is automatically tracked. Usual delivery times are 3-14 days for Canada/USA and up to one month for international. FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $50 anywhere in the world!

What about custom orders?

Where do you get your materials?

We use only new, prewashed materials bought from Etsy shops, Spoonflower, Funky Monkey Fabrics, Fabric.com and Fabricland. We hand pick each print based on eye catching quality and durable fabrics that will last.

How do you recommend I wash your products?

To wash cloth pads there are several options:

1) you can soak pads in a bin of cold water for a few hours before rinsing and squeezing out water and storing in a water resistant wetbag (sold in store)

2) you can rinse immediately after use with cold water and use a stain stick to get stubborn stains out, then squeeze out water and put in wetbag.  

3) You can rinse with cold water, use a stain stick and then hang to dry.

Within three days of any of these steps, you should wash your soiled pads with either a mild detergent or soap nuts. Pad wrappers are great since they can be used to hold soiled pads in your purse or bag until you can add them to your main wetbag.

What’s the difference between cotton woven, cotton knit, flannelette, pique, bamboo and minky?

Cotton woven is thin, breathable but tends to keep that wet feeling on top.  Cotton knit is smooth and soft, breathable and pulls wetness a bit better away from your skin.

Flanelette is very soft, pulls wetness away from your skin, but may pill.  

Pique is a high performance sport material that wicks moisture from the skin.  It feels soft and silky, while still able to breathe and make you feel comfortable.

Bamboo is sustainable, breathes, is antimicrobial, and very soft.

 Minky is polyester and resists stains extremely well.  It is very soft and plush, but some people find it to cause sweating.  If you’re not sure which fabric is right for you, feel free to try a sample pack with different topper fabrics.

I bought some pads and they leaked!  What’s going on?

If you experience leaks, there are some things to rule out.  First, make sure your underwear fits well.  If it’s too loose, it may allow leaks to happen easily.  Second, if you are using a pad that is designed for a lower flow, you may need to move up an absorbency level.  Also, if you have a heavy flow you might want to try using PUL backed pads or changing them more often. If you are a first time cloth user, it may take a while to get used to your flow and get a routine that works for you.  Also, the more a pad is washed, the more it will absorb.  This is especially true for bamboo fabrics.
