You’ve read all the blogs, articles and reviews about cloth reusable pads and you’re ready to dive in. There are just so many options! How’s a gal to choose? This is the ultimate cloth pad tester set, you’ll be able to try out two different shapes, six different topper fabrics, three different lengths and three different absorbencies! Nine pads in total, a great value!
8” light flow “fashionista” is topped with cotton woven fabric and has a light flow core of two layers of cotton batting. It’s backed with black Windpro fleece.
8” light flow “au naturel” topped in bamboo Sherpa has a light core of two layers of cotton batting. It’s backed with black windpro fleece. This pad has serged edges which make it slightly thinner than other pads.
10” moderate flow “purple” is soft bamboo velour and has a core of one layer of Zorb and one layer of cotton batting. Polyurethane laminated backing bonded to bamboo Sherpa means this pad is water PROOF! So it’s similar to a disposable pad. You can tell it has hidden PUL because in our store, the PUL is white and the windpro fleece is black.
10” moderate flow “sleepy owls” is a flannel pad backed with black Windpro fleece. It’s core is made of one layer of Zorb and one layer of cotton batting.
10” heavy flow exposed core “cute kitties” has a tan suede cloth exposed core on top of flannel fabric. This type of pad is great for sideways leaks, since it provides resistance for the flow and gives your more time before it reaches the wings. Suede cloth is great at pulling the flow down into the core and spreading it out so that the core doesn’t get saturated in one place. The backing is black Windpro fleece. Core is two layers of Zorb.
12” moderate flow “Como se llama?” is topped with ultra soft polyester minky. This is fabric with a high surface area which means it is able to absorb more flow. This fabric also washes out stains quite easily with little effort. It’s serged edges give it a flat quality, however some women find it makes them too warm. This pad is backed with bamboo sherpa PUL.
12” heavy/overnight flow “period supplies” is topped with pique. Core is one layer of bamboo fleece sandwiched between two layers of thirsty Zorb. Pique feels like a bathing suit but performs like a high quality sports shirt, wicking moisture and letting you keep your cool. It’s got serged edges and is backed with white bamboo sherpa bonded to PUL. Pique material is great at repelling stains.
12” heavy overnight flow “classy and complicated” is topped with soft modern jersey knit. This fabric is so soft it feels like you’re not even wearing a pad! **Print does feature ADULT words.** Core is two layers of thirsty Zorb sandwiching a layer of bamboo fleece. Backing fabric is white bamboo baby terry cloth bonded to PUL.
12” moderate flow “sewing sorrows” has a cotton woven topper and a core of one layer of Zorb and a layer of cotton batting. The backing is black windpro fleece.
