You’ve read all the blogs, articles and reviews about cloth reusable pads and you’re ready to dive in. There are just so many options! How’s a gal to choose? This is the ultimate cloth pad tester set, you’ll be able to try out two different shapes, six different topper fabrics, three different lengths and three different absorbencies!
8” light flow “backyard bear” is topped with cotton woven fabric and has a light flow core of two layers of cotton batting. It’s backed with black Windpro fleece.
8” light flow “au naturel” topped in bamboo Sherpa has a light core of two layers of cotton batting. It’s backed with grey windpro fleece. This pad has serged edges which make it slightly thinner than other pads.
10” moderate flow “thermos” is printed on flannel and has a core of one layer of Zorb and one layer of cotton batting. Flannel is very soft and breathable, but some women find it stains easily. Black windpro fleece backing means it is only moisture repellant, not water proof, but excellent at staying put in your underwear.
10” heavy flow “midnight garden” is topped with cotton polyester knit. This is highly breathable, soft, and is great at grabbing moisture down and into the pad. It’s serged edges give it a flat quality and the bamboo Sherpa bonded to PUL backing means it’s waterproof just like the disposables.
10” moderate flow “retro tattoo” is topped with pique. Pique feels like a bathing suit but performs like a high quality sports shirt, wicking moisture and letting you keep your cool. It’s got serged edges and is backed with black windpro fleece. This material is great at repelling stains.
12” overnight flow “love that llama” is topped with super plush minky. This fabric is amazing at repelling stains, grabbing “gushes” with its increased surface area and spoiling you with softness. Only downside is that it can make some women sweat more than other pad toppers. It’s backed with grey windpro fleece.
12” moderate flow exposed core “fancy owl” has a suede cloth exposed core on top of cotton woven fabric. This type of pad is great for sideways leaks, since it provides resistance for the flow and gives your more time before it reaches the wings. Suede cloth is great at pulling the flow down into the core and spreading it out so that the core doesn’t get saturated in one place. The backing is grey windpro fleece.
